Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how UmiAi (“UmiAi,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, processes, stores, shares, and protects personal data in connection with your access to and use of the UmiAi mobile applications, websites, platform services, artificial intelligence functions, channels, messaging and social features, wallet and digital asset tools, mini-applications, in-app purchases, and any other products, software, or features made available by UmiAi (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, you must immediately discontinue your use of the Services.
UmiAi operates globally, but our primary legal base is Singapore. Accordingly, this Privacy Policy is drafted to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”) and incorporates principles commonly found in international privacy regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) of the European Union, as well as other applicable regional or national privacy requirements. Nothing in this Policy shall be interpreted in a manner that restricts rights afforded to users under applicable laws.
1. Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to all individuals who access, install, register for, or use the Services, regardless of location. It also applies to all forms of personal data processed by UmiAi, whether provided directly by you, collected automatically from your device or usage of the Services, or obtained from third-party sources. The Policy governs all interactions with UmiAi’s ecosystem, including your use of messaging functions, public or private channels, content posting, commenting, social engagement tools, creator functions, AI-powered features, wallet operations, digital asset transactions, reward mechanisms, and mini-apps. This Policy does not apply to third-party applications or services that may integrate with or be accessed through UmiAi, nor does it apply to decentralized blockchain networks or public ledgers, where data is inherently immutable and beyond UmiAi’s ability to alter or delete.
2. Eligibility, Consent, and Legal Capacity
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years old and possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under the laws of your jurisdiction. You consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, consent to the transfer of your data to other jurisdictions. You acknowledge that withdrawal of consent may affect the availability or functionality of certain features, including wallet operations, AI tools, and other functions that require data to operate correctly. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all references to “consent” include consent implied through continued use of the Services.
3. Information We Collect
UmiAi collects personal data to enable the functioning, security, and improvement of the Services. We collect data that you provide directly; data generated through your interactions with the Services; technical information automatically collected from your devices; and information obtained from third parties who support identity verification, payment processing, advertising, analytics, or regulatory compliance.
When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, username, email address, phone number, age or date of birth, password, profile details, and any additional information you voluntarily choose to include. When you use the social features of UmiAi, we collect content you create or upload, including text, images, audio, video, comments, messages, reactions, and other forms of user expression. If you use messaging or channel functionalities, we process your communications as necessary to transmit messages, maintain the security of the platform, and detect violations of our terms or illegal activities, in accordance with applicable laws.
When you utilize UmiAi’s artificial intelligence features, we process the prompts, inputs, uploaded content, and related data you provide to generate outputs. This may include text queries, photographs, audio samples, or video files. These inputs and outputs may be processed to enhance safety systems, improve model performance, and prevent misuse. However, we do not use private, personal, or confidential communications for training generalized AI models unless we have your explicit permission or unless such data has been irreversibly anonymized.
If you use UmiAi’s wallet or digital asset functions, we collect information necessary to facilitate cryptocurrency transactions, manage token balances, track reward points, verify identity when legally required, detect fraudulent or suspicious activities, and comply with anti-money laundering (“AML”) and counter-terrorism financing (“CTF”) obligations. This may include wallet addresses, transaction metadata, cryptographic signatures, blockchain interactions, deposits, withdrawals, and regulatory verification information.
We also automatically collect technical information, including device type, model, operating system, unique identifiers, network information, IP address, time zone, language settings, and diagnostic or crash data. Usage information, such as interactions with features, content viewed or engaged with, time spent on various sections of the Services, search queries, advertising interactions, and mini-app activities, is collected to support personalization, analytics, safety, and service optimization. If you permit location access, we may process precise location data; otherwise, approximate location may be inferred from your IP address.
We may receive personal data from third parties, such as identity verification providers, payment processors, advertising networks, analytics providers, mini-app developers, blockchain explorers, and publicly available sources. These third parties may supply us with verification results, fraud risk assessments, transaction data, and device identifiers to help protect the integrity of the Services.
4. How We Use Your Information
UmiAi uses personal data to provide, maintain, enhance, and secure the Services and to fulfill legal obligations. We process your personal data to operate your account, enable your interactions with the platform, facilitate messaging and communication, support social engagement features, deliver personalized content and recommendations, operate channels and public feeds, and provide AI-generated content and functionalities. UmiAi also uses your data to operate wallet services, process transactions involving cryptocurrency or tokens, maintain accurate records of balances and transfers, comply with AML and CTF requirements, and safeguard the platform against illicit financial activity.
We process information to detect, investigate, and respond to harmful behaviors, violations of our Terms of Service, content that may be illegal or dangerous, impersonation, fraud, spam, or other threats to user safety and public integrity. Automated and manual review systems may be used to moderate content, identify harmful patterns, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
UmiAi uses data to improve both the Services and underlying technologies, including machine learning models. We analyze usage patterns, test new functionalities, ensure stability, measure performance, and enhance accuracy. When necessary, personal data may be anonymized or aggregated to remove identifiable elements before being used for research, analytics, or system improvement.
We also process data to communicate with you regarding service updates, account alerts, security notifications, transactional messages, or marketing communications (where permitted). If required by law, we use personal data to satisfy reporting obligations, law enforcement requests, court orders, regulatory compliance, and audits.
5. How We Share Information
UmiAi may share personal data with affiliates, service providers, business partners, and third parties where such sharing is necessary for the provision, improvement, or security of the Services. We may share information with cloud hosting providers, payment processors, KYC/AML verification agencies, analytics partners, content moderation vendors, marketing partners (subject to consent), mini-app developers, and blockchain service providers. Channel creators, influencers, or business accounts may receive limited insights or aggregated analytics about their audience or followers, except where prohibited by law.
We may disclose personal data to law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, or governmental bodies where required by law, subpoena, legal process, or where disclosure is necessary to prevent physical harm, financial loss, or illegal activity. If UmiAi undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of such transactions, subject to appropriate safeguards and continued protection under this Policy.
6. International Data Transfers
UmiAi operates globally. As a result, your personal data may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from jurisdictions outside your home country, including countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your jurisdiction. Where required, UmiAi implements contractual or other legally recognized safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure that international transfers comply with applicable privacy requirements. By using the Services, you acknowledge and consent to such cross-border transfers.
7. Data Retention
UmiAi retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law, regulatory obligations, litigation needs, or internal policies related to fraud prevention, audit, or compliance. Content you create or share may be retained even after deletion for a reasonable period for backup, safety review, or legal compliance. Blockchain data associated with cryptocurrency transactions cannot be deleted or altered due to the decentralized nature of public ledgers.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict processing, withdraw consent, object to certain forms of processing, or request data portability. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. UmiAi will honor such rights in accordance with applicable laws. Please note that certain requests may affect your ability to use wallet services, AI features, or social functions.
9. Security Measures
UmiAi employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. However, no system can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted or stored. Users are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials, wallet private keys, and personal devices.
10. Children’s Privacy
UmiAi is intended solely for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we discover that a minor has used the Services or provided personal data, we will take steps to delete the data and terminate the account.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
UmiAi may update or revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through notice within the Services or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
12. Contact Information
